Lunch ’n Learn Living with the Times-
Bring your lunch to an inspiring hour of Torah, based on the weekly Torah portion.
Wednesdays 1 ˇ§C 2 pm at Spivack & Spivack, 1528 Walnut Street Suite 710.
Jewish Mysticism-
Shabbat Morning 9:00 ˇ§C 9:30am (preceding services) at B'nai Abraham. In this
half-hour, text-based course, you'll see how profound and divine Judaism
is.
Talking Talmud!- The Talmud is also known as
Gemarah or Oral Torah. It explains the Written Torah. Take this course to
understand the meaning behind Jewish laws, customs, holidays, and traditions.
Sundays, 9:15 ˇ§C 10:15 am.
JLI Courses- 6 week courses on a variety of topics from the internationally acclaimed Jewish Learning Institute. The next course which begins in November 2011 is called ¡ˇăFascinating Facts: Exploring the Myths and Mysteries of Judaism.¡ˇŔ Upcoming 2012 courses entitled ¡ˇăMoney Matters: Jewish Business Ethics¡ˇŔ and ¡ˇăThe Art of Marriage.¡ˇŔ These courses are held on Tuesday evenings, from 7:30-9:00pm as well as lunchtime on Wednesdays. you'd like to learn another topic, or if these classes are not friendly to
your schedule, we'll set you up with a friendly private tutor! For a nominal
fee, you'll get lots of personal attention and an accommodating class
schedule.
